WeKare Partners LLC (“WeKare,” “we,” or “us”) develops and operates Meroli. This policy covers the Meroli app, this website, and support communications. Meroli helps a parent or guardian organize school day information for their family; it is not a school or an official school system.
We do not publish child profiles or family schedules for other Meroli users to browse.
02 / Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account and contact details: email address, authentication credentials or sign-in identifiers, language, and account preferences.
- Family and school details: child names or labels, grade, school and district selections, enrollments, program choices, and school-year information needed to show relevant schedules and events.
- Support messages: information you send when requesting help or exercising a privacy right.
Information from school sources and use of the service
- School calendars, bell schedules, school contact details, event details, and available public school performance information from official or other identified sources.
- Technical data such as IP address, request time, device and app version, language, error codes, and security logs needed to operate and protect the service.
Meroli does not need precise device location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers to provide its core school day features. We do not use advertising trackers to build profiles of families.
03 / How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; connect children to the schools and programs a family selects; show relevant school day schedules and events; provide language preferences and support; maintain service reliability; prevent misuse; and meet applicable legal obligations. School information may be incomplete or change at its source, so families should verify important details with the school.
We do not sell personal information or use a child's school details for targeted advertising.
05 / Retention and security
We keep account and family information while the account is active and as needed to provide Meroli. Security and operational records may be retained for a limited period based on security, fraud prevention, or legal needs. Backup copies may remain until the regular backup cycle replaces them. We use safeguards including encrypted transport, access controls, and protected authentication data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
06 / Your choices and rights
You can update family and school information in the app. To delete your account, use the in-app Delete account flow; see our account deletion instructions. You can also email contact@wekarepartners.com to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information, subject to applicable law. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.
07 / Children's information
Meroli is intended for parents and guardians, not for children to create their own accounts. A parent or guardian may enter a child's name, grade, school, and program details to use the family features. We use this information only to provide the requested school day experience and associated support. If you believe a child created an account or information was provided without appropriate authority, contact us so we can review it.
08 / International processing
WeKare Partners LLC is based in California, United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law.
09 / Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Meroli changes. We will update the effective date and give additional notice when a material change or applicable law requires it.
